Course Name: Art & Design through the Ages - Private Sessions Course ID: A&D-A&DA-210 Price: $375 (includes 15 sessions each 1 hour in duration) Course Description: Art and Design through the Ages gives kids who love to draw, paint, and sculpt, a place and time to be with their artist peers, to learn, imagine, and create their own unique works of art. In this course, through a series of demonstrations, and guided exercises, and with plenty of time to experiment and flex our creative muscles, we’ll spotlight and draw inspiration from artwork from different time periods, starting with the Prehistoric time period, and moving chronologically to present day artwork. This course offers a fun, interactive and visual perspective on human history, creativity and culture. Instructor: Stacy Johnston Course Location: Online Live via Zoom Number of Students - 1 Prerequisites: Zoom Capabilities. You will receive Zoom conference access details in advance of the class start date. Course Materials: A materials list will be emailed to you in advance of the class start date. Home Supplies to Have Readily Accessible: • Sharpened pencil(s) • Eraser • Sketchbook or a few sheets of printer paper per session • Crayons, markers, oil pastels • Scissors • Glue stick and Elmer's School Glue • Tape - Masking Tape and Scotch / clear tape • Watercolor paint, paper, paintbrushes, mixing palette, and 2 water cups/jars for rinsing & mixing • Paper toweling, napkins, or tissue • Surface protection covering (placemat, plastic tablecloth, newspaper, etc.) • Good lighting (if low vision; desk lamp w/magnification, or document camera, e.g. INSWAN INS-1 8MP) Custom Courses: This posted course is designed for students ages 8-12.
